What you can do online
Update club/membership information:
- Add new members with payment, terminate members, identify the new club president and treasurer, update contact information for all members, including email, and change certain member types.
- Discontinue (terminate) sponsorship of Venture Clubs, S Clubs, and Sigma Societies.
- Discontinue (terminate) gift magazine subscriptions for non-members or Friendship Links.
Make payment for the following, using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) or a bank debit card:
- Pay member dues, SI dues.
- Make contributions to Founders Pennies, the Annual Club Campaign and other donation types.
- Pay for continuing sponsorship of Venture Clubs, S Clubs, and Sigma Societies.
- Pay for continuing subscriptions to Best for Women magazine for life members, non- members, or Soroptimist club Friendship Links in other federations.
What you can’t do online
- Transfer current Soroptimist members into or out of clubs. Please submit Form 5010 to headquarters. Download Form 5010: 2007-2008 | 2008-2009
- Reinstate members. If members are rejoining within a year of resigning, please submit a Form 5008 to headquarters with the appropriate payments.

- Add new sponsorships of Venture Clubs, S Clubs, or Sigma Societies.
- Add new subscriptions to the magazine or discontinue current magazine subscriptions for Life members. For new subscriptions, please use the subscription form and submit to headquarters. To discontinue a Life member magazine subscription, please contact headquarters.

Dues/Fees Amounts
2008-2009 Federation Dues and Fees
- $48.00 - SIA dues (Life members pay $10 without a magazine subscription)
- $6.00 - SI dues
- $1.00 - Club liability insurance
- $5.28 - Founders pennies (optional)*
Additional fees:
- $7.50 one-time fee for new members
- $10 one-time fee for reinstating members
Prorated federation dues for the 2008-2009 club year:
- Members inducted July 1 through September 30 pay $48.00.
- Members inducted October 1 through December 31 pay $36.00.
- Members inducted January 1 through March 31 pay $24.00.
- Members inducted Apri1 1 through June 30 pay $12.00.
*At the December 2007 federation board meeting, the Fund Development Council recommended to the board, and the board approved, to raise Founders Pennies by two cents due to inflation. This is the first time Founders Pennies have been raised in 15 years (previously they were $.04 per year of Soroptimist's existence). Therefore, for the 2008-2009 club year, voluntary Founders Pennies are $.06 for every year that Soroptimist has been in existence: $.06 x 88 = $5.28 per member. Read the Founders Pennies FAQ.
2007-2008 Federation Dues and Fees
- $44.00 - SIA dues (Life members pay $10 without a magazine subscription)
- $6.00 - SI dues
- $2.00 - Club liability insurance
- $3.48 - Founders pennies (optional)
Additional fees:
- $7.50 one-time fee for new members
- $10 one-time fee for reinstating members
Prorated federation dues for the 2007-2008 club year:
- Members inducted July 1 through September 30 pay $44.00.
- Members inducted October 1 through December 31 pay $33.00.
- Members inducted January 1 through March 31 pay $22.00.
- Members inducted Apri1 1 through June 30 pay $11.00.
